Welcome to the home of Springboro Amateur Wrestling on the web
We are very excited about kicking off another successful wrestling season. Springboro Amateur Wrestling offers a unique opportunity for youths of our community to improve their confidence, perseverance, athleticism, and character through the sport of wrestling. Our program for youths from kindergarten through 6th grade is part of the Miami Valley Kids Wrestling Association, one of the largest youth wrestling organizations in the country. We offer age-based training two nights a week with meets held at local High Schools on Sundays. With our outstanding facilities through the Springboro High School Wrestling Room and our low coach-to-wrestler ratio, your wrestler will get hours of quality training this winter.
Our main goals for our wrestlers are:
1-to help our wrestlers become the best wrestler they can be
2-to help our wrestlers learn to love the sport of wrestling
3-to have fun doing it!
Season dates, practice times and locations will be announced via this page and emailed to those who have registered as they become made.
Registration for the 2022-2023 season will be open 9/09/22. Registration cutoff will be 10/15/2022.
Practices:
***The normal practice schedule will be Tuesday and Thursday each week (excluding holidays and some home varsity basketball games).
Kindergarten -3rd will practice from 6:00 to 7:00
4th-6th grade will practice from 7:15 to 8:45
*may have to move 3rd graders to 7:15 practice depending on numbers
A full practice schedule will be posted to the website at a later date.
